Three injured as pipeline explosion ignites huge fire at Russian petrochemical plant - video

An explosion and a huge fire broke out during the flushing of a pipeline at a petrochemical plant in the city of Sterlitamak in the Russian Republic of Bashkortostan, the Russian Telegram channel Astra reported on Aug. 19.
The eyewitnesses' videos appeared online.
Three people were reportedly injured.
A depressurization of the pipeline's overhead line occurred, followed by the burning of liquefied gas, Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry said in its Telegram report.
Russian authorities have not confirmed any casualties, saying the information is still being verified.
This incident follows another explosion on Aug. 6 at the Avangard military plant in Sterlitamak, which killed three members of the brigade.
