Overnight explosions reported at Russian ammo dump in occupied Amvrosiyivka

Explosions rang out over night in the occupied town of Amvrosiyivka in Donetsk Oblast, 20 km from the Russian border, journalist Andriy Tsaplienko reported on Telegram on Aug. 18. According to him, the source of the explosions, and the subsequent fire, was ordnance stored in a warehouse in the town.
According to eyewitnesses, the detonation of this ammunition continued throughout the night.
Sergey Bratchuk, spokesperson for the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, confirmed Tsaplienko’s report, and stated that further information was being clarified.
Amvrosiyivka is located 80 kilometers from the front line.
