Airforce attrition halves intensity of Russian air strikes — Ukrainian military

After losing
more than a dozen of Su-34 and Su-35 aircraft in a matter of weeks, Russia had
to scale down the intensity of its airstrikes on Ukrainian units on the
battlefield, Ukraine’s Operational Command South spokesperson Dmytro Lykhovy
told Ukrainian TV broadcasters on March 5.
According to Lykhovy, the Russian military now flies half as many daily sorties to bombard Ukrainian positions with guided air bombs.
He also described the use of chemical weapons by the Russians as "a routine occurrence." He noted that nine instances of chemical substance use were recorded over a single day three days ago.
“These were instances of Chloropicrin, a tear-producing substance used by law enforcement for dispersing crowds,” said Lykhovy.
“However, the use of such weapons against military personnel is a violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention.”
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
