African delegation saw who really wants peace, says Zelenskyy

Delegates from the African peace mission had an opportunity to see with their own eyes who really wants peace and who is waging war on Ukraine, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address on June 18.
"You all saw how the visit of the delegation of African leaders and representatives went – a visit to Ukraine, and then a visit to the terrorist state," Zelenskyy said.
"The delegation had the opportunity to see who is really interested in peace and who himself embodies war; it was very clear."
The six African countries' representatives discussed in Ukraine Zelenskyy's "peace formula," point by point. In Russia, in contrast, they talked only about war and further murders of peaceful people, Zelenskyy said.
"It is obvious that there is no alternative to the Peace Formula. It is good that the world hears and sees this more and more," the Ukrainian leader said.
The African "peace" delegation consisted of diplomats from Uganda, South Africa, Congo, Senegal, Zambia and Egypt. They proposed their own "peace mission" on May 16. It suggests starting peace talks between Ukraine and Russia – even if troops from Russia’s invasion force are still present on Ukrainian territory.
Ukraine is open to considering any peace initiatives from other countries, but Zelenskyy's 10-point "peace formula" is the only working solution, the Ukrainian Office of the President says.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
