At least 20 were injured, including a pregnant woman, in the Russian drone strike on a nine-story building in Odesa that killed 12 people, the Odesa Regional State Administration's Health Department reported on Facebook.
Three people were hospitalized, including two in critical condition who remain in the intensive care unit. One person with moderate injuries is receiving treatment in the trauma department.
Medical assistance is also being provided to other injured people, the department noted.
A Russian drone struck a nine-story apartment building in Odesa on the night of March 2, destroying an entrance and killing 12 people, including four-month-old Timofiy, seven-month-old Liza, three-year-old Mark, eight-year-old Zlata, and nine-year-old Serhiy, who would have turned ten in July.
The search operation continued until the evening of March 3. Rebuilding the part of the building destroyed by the Russian drone strike is impossible, Odesa Regional Military Administration head, Oleh Kiper, said.
Russia may have used modified drones with enhanced warheads, causing extensive damage to the building, Ukraine’s Operational Command South spokesperson, Natalia Humeniuk, said.
