Russia loses 1k+ soldiers, 8 armored vehicles, and 42 artillery systems in Ukraine in 24 hours

Russia has lost about 580,590 of its soldiers, including 1,100 over the past day since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported on August 2.
The Russian army also lost in Ukraine:

Russian losses in the war against Ukraine
Between 462,000 and 728,000 Russian military soldiers have been killed or wounded in the war against Ukraine, according to classified Pentagon documents, The Economist reported on July 7.
Russia’s daily average losses in May and June rose to record levels of 1,262 and 1,163 soldiers, respectively. Russia has lost approximately 70,000 soldiers in Ukraine over the last two months, the UK Intelligence reported on July 12.
Russian losses on the front lines are three times higher than Ukrainian losses, and "in some areas, even more," Ukraine's Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi said.
At least 61,000 Russian soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, BBC Russian Service and Mediazona reported on July 26.
