Women steal previously stolen Ukrainian icon from Moscow church next to FSB building
Unknown women have managed to snatch a Boholyubska Mother of God icon from a church located a few hundred meters from the FSB building in Moscow, according to a video shared on social media by pro-Kremlin propagandists on May 31.
The clip shows two women simply approaching the icon on the stand, picking it up and leaving the church without any hindrance.
They also carried it down the street just as openly, completely unconcerned by the stares of passersby and seemingly without fear of being detained.
The irony is that this icon had already been stolen, as Russian looters had illegally taken it from Russian-occupied Khartsyzsk, in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast.
One of the women in the video allegedly used to live in Mariupol, which has now been practically destroyed by the Russian army.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
