Ukrainian defender Kyrylo Petrov of Korona Kielce scored a brilliant goal in this week’s Polish Championship against Stal Mielec.
Petrov surprised everyone with a ninth minute shot from his own half, surprising the opposing goaltender with its beautiful trajectory that flew over his head and into the net, eliciting a storm of applause from the fans.
Petrov’s wonder-goal wouldn’t be the difference-maker though, as Kielce conceded twice to suffer a 1-2 defeat.
Earlier, Ukrainian defender Ihor Plastun of Ludogorets notched the deciding marker in the first semi-final match of the Bulgarian Cup against Cherno More.
