Russia’s CSKA hockey club outrageously dons uniforms adorned with terrorist ‘Z’ symbol — video
Russia has once again shattered the notion
of apolitical
sports, shedding light on how Kremlin propaganda exploits the participation
of its athletes in international competitions.
This time, Moscow’s CSKA hockey team openly expressed support for Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, with photographic and video evidence flooding social media.
This provocative display was orchestrated by the army-affiliated club, under the purview of Russia’s Defense Ministry, ahead of CSKA’s match against Kazan’s Ak-Bars.
CSKA’s hockey players, who also serve in the Russian military, took to the ice donning uniforms adorned with the controversial “Z” symbol, associated with fascist ideologies.
Before the game, words of support were voiced for military criminals from the Espanola volunteer regiment, who had been involved in combat actions in the Bakhmut area.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
