Ukrainian Armor company resumes mortar production
The Ukrainian
Armor company, associated with former MP Serhiy Pashinsky, has resumed
production of mortars of various calibers and has already supplied over 600
units to the Ukrainian military in 2023, the company said in a Facebook post on
Aug. 31.
Company CEO Vladislav Belbas said that since the beginning of the war, part of the company’s production capacities in eastern Ukraine had been seized by the enemy. The company found a way to restore production cycles, conduct qualification tests, and resume production of 60mm, 82mm, and 120mm mortars at relocated sites.
In addition, Ukrainian Armor has increased artillery weapon production volumes compared to the pre-war period. It supplies these products to various law enforcement agencies, both with state financing and with funding from volunteer organizations.
Previously, it was reported that Ukrainian Armor has become the largest private supplier of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, charging the military exceptionally high prices.
In 2022, the company reported its highest annual turnover in history: sales volumes exceeded $350 million, compared to $2.8 million dollars a year before the Russian invasion.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
